LIEPNET™ PING TEST
LIEPNET™ PING TEST
NOTE: Because this is an HTTPS ping test, it may not reflect your actual ping, which is performed using an ICMP ping.
This is an HTML ping test, which determines how long it takes to fetch a page (via a random query /?t=) from the server. Technically, it is similar to the round-trip time for an HTTP request/response.
This test has a higher ping because traditional ping tests use ICMP packets, which are a lower-level method (direct network communication). HTTP requests, on the other hand, have more layers, including DNS resolution, server-side processing, and routing through various services, which can cause additional delays.
To perform an ICMP ping test, go to your CMD and type "ping", then press space and enter the domain/IP address you want to test.
LIEPNET™ does not currently have its own servers for connection testing, but plans to implement them in the near future.
LIEPNET™ approves those Latvian domains ending in ".lv". If you have suggestions for additional domains, please contact support@liepnet.id.lv
